Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is the seat of many European Union institutions and of NATO. It is a popular venue for international conferences and fairs as well as for tourists with attractions such as the Grand Place, Manneken Pis and the Atomium. It is served by Brussels Airport and the low-cost Brussels South Charleroi Airport. There are also many high-speed train connections (Eurostar (edit), Thalys (edit)) to Brussels.
