Mini:Dustmann
Andreas Dustmann is a partner and attorney-at-law with German law firm BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT [1]. He studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg, Madrid Complutense and Cologne. He obtained the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Edinburgh. In his doctorate thesis he worked on legal aspects of online piracy and copyright liability of internet service providers. For two years he was a research associate at the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign Private and Private International Law in Hamburg.
In 2001 Dustmann joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT at their offices in Berlin. He has specialised in copyright law, with special emphasis on the film business, trademark and unfair competition law as well as patent litigation. He regularly advises several US Hollywood studios. Andreas Dustmann is co-author of the Manual on Intellectual Property on the Internet (2001) and various other publications related to intellectual property. He is a member of the German Intellectual Property Association (GRUR).
