Mini:Sandboxing

Computer security: running potentially malicious software in a controlled, safe environment. Is usually performed by using virtualization software like VMware, Virtual PC etc. Commercial sandboxing software exists as well, of which Norman Sandbox Analyzer and Sunbelt Software's CWSandbox are the two most popular examples. Also, services are provided online to submit samples and see the results some time later (CWsandbox, Norman, ThreatExpert, Anubis). Links: ThreatExpert, CWSandbox, Anubis, Norman Sandbox Analyzer,
