According to Abraham Maslow (1954) basic needs are: Physiological needs (sleep, hunger, sexual needs), Security, Social integration, Social recognition, Self-fulfillment, Sense

Martin (1994) thinks that all this needs can be assigned to the need of control. In addition, human beings move antinomic needs like: calm/action, individuality/society, closeness/openess, simplicity/complexity, etc. The motivation for acting is to keep the balance, solving problems. Human rights are based on the satisfaction of basic needs.
