The concept of a mini article is still being defined. Essentially, mini articles should focus on giving the reader additional information to help guide the process of information gathering about the keyword or phrase they are searching for.
The kind of information needed in a given instance depends on the search term(s), and may include any of the following:
- a brief definition
- additional resources
- alternative meanings for the query, disambiguations
- "see also" links pointing to other mini-articles
- "did you mean?"s
- images
- tips
- questions (problem statements)
- problem solutions that fit on a few lines
